Custom pick list for web form maintain my "default value." I cannot get rid of or rename "none" value.

I'm creating a webform for a Mexican (Spanish) landing page.

I was able to create the custom pick list.  However, I have two problems.

1.  I need my default value to be "Elige tu ubicación" which I did set as default in the system.  I noticed when I go to the web form itself, it automatically appears as a field but "none" is the default value.  If I delete the field and then drag it back in, "Elige tu ubicación" is now the default.  If I save the form, "none" is the default value again.  This appears to be a bug.

2.  I want to get rid of "none" as a value altogether.  Since I see no way of simply deleting it, I tried to replace this value with "Elige tu ubicación" with no success.  Can you tell me how to get rid of the "none" value?
