Custom Pick List: need a blank field option (CRM-LEADS)

Custom Pick List: need a blank field option (CRM-LEADS)

Currently there is no blank/empty/null value option once a Custom Pick List is created.
If I select a value by mistake, I can not go back and have the field be empty again.
I need the ability to do a Mass Update and remove values from a Custom Pick List field.
