Hello everyone,
We are excited to introduce the ability to customize Appointment Booking emails in Bigin. Until now, when a customer booked, rescheduled, or cancelled an appointment through your Booking Pages, Bigin sent out a fixed email template that couldn't be changed. With this enhancement, you can now customize the content of these emails to suit your company's preferences.
If you use Booking Pages to let customers schedule appointments with you - for instance, a dental clinic booking patient appointments - Bigin automatically sends different emails during situations like booking confirmation, cancellation, or rescheduling of these appointments.
How to get started with this enhancement
Go to your Booking Page settings in Bigin.
Click on the 3 dots menu/more menu for a specific Booking Page and you'll notice the Customize Email option.
Under Customize Email, you'll find four options:
Confirmation email - sent when a customer books an appointment.
Reschedule email - sent when an appointment is rescheduled.
Cancellation email - sent when an appointment is cancelled
Reminder email - sent to the customer as a reminder ahead of their appointment.
Note. Reminder Templates are available only for the Events module (applicable to both Events and Group Events).
Select the email you want to customize. You can edit the existing message, or delete it entirely and add your own content in its place.
Save your changes. Only the message content can be customized - the underlying template structure stays the same, and new templates cannot be created.
Once saved, the customized email will be sent to customers going forward for that Booking Page. As before, these emails will continue to include links that let customers reschedule or cancel their appointments directly, taking them to the reschedule page to pick a new time.

That's all for these enhancements. We sincerely hope you find these improvements useful. Please give them a try and leave your feedback in the comments section below. Watch this space for future announcements.
