Customizing contract status
Can we customize/add/remove status on Zoho contracts ourselves or does Zoho needs to do this?
Context-
There is a long list of status on Zoho but not all of them are relevant for us . There are few status which are missing and needs to be added. E.g-
Add “Withdrawn” so that we can see those contracts that are no longer being actively pursued.
Add “Duplicate” to allow a duplicate contract to be tagged without being deleted.
Add “On Hold” to reflect a contract that remains valid, but has been deferred and thus we can temporarily ignore it.
We need to remove statuses which are not valid for my organization. E.g-
“Approval Recalled” is redundant, as if you recall the approval then it reverts back to “Draft” and does not need the interim step
Same with “Negotiation Recalled”, as the only reasons to recall it are to make changes (i.e. Draft) or withdrawing from the contract (i.e. Withdrawn).
“Negotiated” and “Sign Recalled” could be replaced with a single “Ready for Signature”.
“Renewed” is not applicable for us
