Cycle 2: Google Checkout-Paypal Integration

Cycle 2: Google Checkout-Paypal Integration

Suggestion: Google Checkout-Paypal Integration

Purpose: Allows form users to pick items in a Zoho Creator form and have them added to a GCheckout or Paypal shopping cart. Upon form submission, the form data is submitted to Creator but the user is taken to checkout through the respective service.

Motivation: This feature would be very useful for any type of situation where payment is needed but you want a seemless experience through Zoho Creator. Personally, I have needed this feature for various types of event, class, or group registration processes that involve a payment.

Example: If you were setting up a conference and wanted to collect various choices for an attendee, you could collect this information through Zoho, and as items are selected they would be added to the cart. Examples of selections could include: ticket, breakfast, lunch, dinner, evening activities, etc.

Implementation: Selections that have corresponding prices attached are added and sent to Google or Paypal checkout page upon submission.

Issues: I'm not sure. I've used jotform.com to do just what I am looking for (aplication since expired) but went with Creator for many other reasons.

Workaround: YES/NO/MAYBE. Can this be done already with elaborate code, API stuff, or other means? There may a possible workaround, but I have not heard of or seen one.

References: Checkout integration is in the roadmap, but seems very long-term: http://help.zoho.com/portal/en/community/#topic/2266000000016404. Would like to make it a priority.

Thanks,

Mike
