danish charracters not displaying correctly

The letters �� i the headlines (P�mindelser - reminders) + (v�lg m�ned - select month) and other similar word are not displayed correctly.
Can you correct this.
I've tried to change the encoding - did't help.
The translation into Danish is otherwise ok.

What about the time-format - we dont use AM/PM but 24H format
