Dashboard Table of a Matrix Report

Dear Zoho,

Every time I attempt to create a dashboard component, whether that be a table or a chart, from a matrix report I keep getting the following error:

"You have not selected any grouping columns in your Source Report. There must be at least one Grouping column in the Source Report."

Does this mean that you cannot produce a dashboard element from a matrix report as my matrix report is grouping data by 2 elements. Please advise.
