Data Labels and Bar Charts

Hi,

I've got a couple of issues I'm hoping you can help me with.

1.  When creating a stacked chart, it puts my text or y axis data label inside the bar rather than above it.  Is there anyway that I can designate the location of the y axis data label?

2.  When creating a bar chart I have cost on the x-axis and months on the y-axis.  Basically comparing cost month to month.  The chart looks great when the color is defaulted to the blue, but if I drag my month into the color field in order to get a legend so I can customize the color, it makes my charts narrow and the alignment is off.  Is there anyway to customize the color of the bar charts so they continue to occupy the correct spacing?
