There is a data sharing arrangement that my organization is interested in, that does not seem to be possible in Zoho CRM at this time. I am wondering if others have similar needs, and if there is any plan to implement something like what we want.

We have internal employees, and also external partners. Each have Zoho CRM user accounts. 

For a given Potential, 1 to n external partners could be involved. What I want to do is be able to easily allow internal employees to see all Accounts, Contacts, Potentials (and of course we can do that), and external partners to be able to see and work only with certain designated records.

In the real world, a given deal-in-the-works could involve more than one or more external partners. But if a particular external partner is not involved in a specific deal, we don't want that partner to see the related Potential, Contacts, or Account in Zoho.

Zoho CRM just doesn't seem to be built to do this. It feels more geared to some sort of call center model. But are there any plans to implement features that could help this? Does anyone else need this sort of functionality?
