Data sharing with roles and profiles
I am setting up Zoho for my organization. We have two distinct functions within our company and I need to determine how to control who sees what data. We have purchased the Professional edition.
I have users who need to be able to access/edit all data (no problem with that). My difficulty lies in setting up roles/profiles for users who need to be able to access/edit only some data (defined by a custom field). The second type of users need to be able to access/edit data owned by users currently in roles above them in our hierarchy.
How can this be achieved??
I believe setting up Organizational Groups could solve this problem, however I do not have the budget for the Enterprise edition. I hope I have explained my problem well.
