Data Validation Rules for Zoho Subscriptions

Hello there,

It would be great if Zoho Subscriptions offered Data Validation rules to validate the data entered while creating, editing, or cancelling subscriptions and to prevent users from performing specific actions.

We have a custom field for capturing "Serial #" of a physical product, and we want to prevent users from entering a serial # that doesn't exist (if a user mistypes the number), or one that's already being used by a different customer (if we have duplicate serial #'s). All of our serial #'s are being stored in a database we made in Zoho Creator. So ideally the validation rules would compare the user input with values in our Creator database via API. We can also make this work with inventory we have stored in Zoho Inventory.

I saw that Zoho Invoice has Data Validation rules and was disappointed to see that missing in Zoho Subscriptions. But since zSubscriptions is a derivative of zInvoice (I think), I don't think it should be too difficult to implement, right?
