Database structure advice please

Currently I add new monthly data to the bottom of a spreadsheet when updating monthly.

So my spreadsheet gets longer each month and I work with one table in Reports.

Would it be more efficient to have seperate spreadsheets and tables for each month and join them in Reports?

Can some knowledgeable person advise me as to the best approach and explain why one is better than the other.
