We are using Deals and assign them to Territories to have an overview in forecasts of our targets.

Now we notice that if a standard user (non admin and non territory manager) makes a hit, it's impossible for him to assign this deal to a Territory. Only admins can choose the territories on a deal and only territory mgrs can choose their territory they are mgr for on a deal.

Is there a way to get this automatically assigned, no matter which type of user is creating a deal ?

For example with a custom picklist field when creating a deal that if you choose "X" that the territory will automatically be assigned to "X"? That would be the best solution for us !
