Deduplication -why the change and why changes are not communicated

I noticed today you have changed the set up of the De-Duplication - why would you not advise people of these changes?

The layout is not very user friendly at all.  I'm not sure why the old way had to be changed.  It was visually easier to see why certain fields were duplicated as we would duplicate contacts for various reasons (because your CRM doesn't allow for a contact to run across multiple accounts)

I would suggest with things like this to open up to users and actually see if its better - or better still, have a look at the continuous issues people have posted over the last few years and work on that rather than changing features that have been working fine and no one has complained about.
