Default views: Recently Created/Modified

Your "hard code" views that cannot be deleted or edited are missing a VITAL sort field in Recently Created or Recently Modified views for prospects, accounts, or job tabs:
THE DATE!
How can you sort by created date to see what's the newest?
How can you sort by modified date to see what's the newest?
You can't! 

Create a new view?  No, that's just more clutter in the view dropdowns.
