It would be great when setting the Work value in a task to have the Work Type i.e. hours per day, hours) default to a configurable Work Type. 

We generally use Work Hours, which is the not the default. We have to be very careful about not missing this. 

When entering hundreds of task in a project this becomes quite tedious and time consuming.

In my opinion, Zoho should consider freezing work on NEW features and work on getting the UI more user friendly. Comparing Zoho Projects to the multiple new online project tools and of course MS Project, I find the interface exhausting to use on large projects.
