Delayed notification using Zoho Mail Android app

Hello:

I'm not sure if this is the right forum but after updating to the latest version of Zoho Mail for Android, I experienced a delayed notification of new e-mails today. The e-mails were waiting for me in my inbox but the app did not notify me of them until more than 12 hours afterwards. Do you know if the problem is server-side?
