Dependencies in Project Templates

Is it possible to set up dependencies for tasks within a project template? I can't find much documentation on how to set up dependencies (just the small little pop up help from the Projects interface).

I noticed that the dependencies tab appears when I look at an active project, but that same tab is no where to be seen when editing a template.

Is there something I'm missing?
