Desirable improvements for Zoho CRM
Dear friends of Zoho CRM,
I would like to list features that I think are important to improve your excellent product:
- Variable currency significant digits
- 1000s separator choice for numbers and currency
- free choice of currency
- free choice of time format
- free choice of date format
- option to show or not gridlines in the screen for data in each page
- show reminders for upcoming event
- have specifically shortcut for events like calls, meeting, etc, as well send invitation to participants
- option to have data in the screen in regular font, not in bold
- option to change font size on screen
- option to include new TABS with customized shortcuts
- option to create customized screens
- multi-line customized fields
- option to rename fields
- option to choose multiple templates for quotes, invoices, sales orders, purchase orders in the same screen when them
- option to have integration of quotes, invoices, sales orders, purchase orders to Zoho Writer/Zoho Sheet so layout can be edited on the fly
- in Quote, Sales Order, Invoice and Purchase Order pages allow to customize/include products fields to be shown. Today this is a black box, that cannot be changed anywhere
- allow to customize a page thru a shortcut located in the same page, not being necessary to go Setup to do it. This speeds up the job tremendously when customizing complex pages.
- allow Zoho CRM to use other VOIP services besides Skype
- include a financial module in Zoho CRM as we can have just one system with everything, or optionally to consider sync with other financial softwares like Quickbooks, etc.
- Desirable customized fields: Formula, Percent with variable decimal digits.
- In Setup when showing fields list there is a column that shows field type. Would be great if could also show in this column the characteristics of each field.
- In customized fields allow to have default values as well allow to create default fields thru formula of other existing fields.
- in the edit page layout in Setup have a shortcut for new page layout preview
- in a screen for example of Accounts, besides the data related to the account we have also shown related items like Attachments, Potentials, Contacts, etc. They are today collapsible one by one, but not all at once.
- variable width in screens showing list of activities, accounts, contacts, etc.
- in the Recent items list located at the left column of the home screen could be interesting when having the mouse over the item have a pop up window showing main data of such item.
- Shortcut to print and export calendars to other applications in the calendar screen
Could you please inform if such above features are being considered in the next release schedule for 1st week of September? If not, when can we expect to have them implemented?
