Desk- turn off notifications to users when deactivated

I've just been told by support that this is not possible.
Please consider this a feature request- if I am deactivating clients who haven't worked with me for years, I DO NOT want them to be notified by email, and it's incredible that we are unable to turn off or suppress the notifications.

Original request-
A client has left our service, now I need to deactivate all the Users on that account.
BUT- When I go to 
Setup/ Help Centre/ Users
Click a User and Click the 'Active' check mark to de-activate them, 
they are sent an email to let them know

I need to de-activate these users WITHOUT notifying them.

How can I do this please?
