Different Auto-Number Prefix for Different Quote Layouts
I am hoping someone can help.
We currently have two sales streams that I am slowly separating so that they capture their own specific information, manage their own customers and have their own custom paperwork (Quote/Sales Order/Invoice).
Whilst trying to create two separate Quote layouts, I have tried to create auto-number prefixes for each layout
CSQ for Services Quotations
HWS for Sales Quotations
But, when I add the new auto number field, it updates both layouts. Is there a way where you can add a specific Auto-number for each layout? I am currently only doing this in Sandbox so I don't know if that makes any difference.
I am hoping there is a code-free way of doing this...
