Disabling e-mail notification for shared documents

Hello,

I need to give our team access to documents via html links in a spreadsheet. Because of the volume of articles in the spreadsheet, I don't team members to receive an e-mail from me everytime I enable the share (read/write) function on a document - I just want them to be able to access the article when they click on the link.

Is there a way to disable the e-mail notification function?
