Do Collaborators Need Zoho Accounts in Order To Edit a Document or PowerPoint Presentation?

I hope I'm not asking a question that is too obvious, but just to make sure, do collaborators need a Zoho account in order to edit a Zoho document or PowerPoint (Show) presentation? For example, if I add an email address that is not associated with a Zoho account, then they will not gain access to the document or presentation correct?
