Hi, I'm new to this so please understand it took hours just to start up.

I've been searching for a simple answer how do I set up a non business account? Please don't tell me I wasted hours just to learn you can't set up a standard e mail account? I don't have a domain, and I have no use to buy one. You offer a lot of great features Gmail doesn't, and that's what brought me here.
