We would like to submit a feature request regarding the behavior of view settings (List vs. Kanban) in Zoho Projects.
Current Behavior:
At the moment, when changing the Issue view (for example, switching from List view to Kanban view) in one project, the same view is automatically applied to all other projects.
This means the Issue view setting is global, rather than being specific to each project.
Why this is a problem:
Different projects often require different working styles and views.
For example:
- One project may be managed in a Kanban workflow
- Another project may require a List view for structured tracking
- Teams working across multiple projects may need different views depending on the project context
Because the view is applied globally:
- Changing the view in one project unintentionally affects all others
- Users must constantly switch views when moving between projects
- It creates confusion and disrupts workflow
- It reduces flexibility in managing different types of projects
From a UX perspective, view preferences should be contextual (per project), not global.
Requested Enhancement:
We kindly request that Issue view settings be made project-specific rather than global.
This should include:
- Saving Issue view (List / Kanban) per project
- Ensuring changes in one project do not affect others

Maintaining consistency with how users expect project-based tools to behave
Benefits:
- Better flexibility in managing different project types
- Improved user experience and reduced confusion
- Less need to repeatedly switch views
- More control for teams working across multiple projects
- Alignment with common project management tool behavior
This change would significantly improve usability, especially for teams managing multiple projects with different workflows.
