Hi Zoho Cliq team,
I want to report what appears to be a bug with how the Do Not Disturb status interacts with the embedded Cliq bar in other Zoho apps.
**Issue:**
When my Cliq status is set to Do Not Disturb, I continue to receive notification tones on my computer. After troubleshooting, I traced the cause to the setting that displays Cliq across all Zoho apps (the Cliq bar at the bottom of the screen in other Zoho applications). It appears that notifications delivered through this embedded Cliq bar do not respect the user's DND status — the tones fire even when DND is active.
**How I confirmed it:**
As a test, I disabled the "show Cliq in all Zoho apps" feature. Once that was turned off, notification behavior worked exactly as expected:
- Status set to Active → notifications and tones came through normally
- Status set to Do Not Disturb → notifications and tones were correctly suppressed
Re-enabling the Cliq bar reintroduces the problem, so the issue seems isolated to how the embedded bar handles notification delivery relative to user status.
**Expected behavior:**
The Do Not Disturb status should be honored consistently everywhere Cliq delivers notifications — including the embedded Cliq bar inside other Zoho apps — not just in the standalone Cliq app.
**Environment:**
- Platform: Desktop (browser-based Zoho apps with the Cliq bar enabled)
- Reproducible: Yes, consistently, by toggling the Cliq bar setting on and off
Happy to provide screen recordings, browser/OS details, or anything else that would help your team reproduce this.
