I have an interesting question of one of my colleague. In Creator, we have this colleague (normal zoho user, not developer) who is developing Forms, Workflows, and Connectors in Creator. When this user gets deactivated, ae connectors and workflow still working, and under which user permissions ?
The fear is that the app could break because the user who developed had enough permissions, but when he is gone, workflow would stop because of lack of permissions.
Or, under which permissions are running all forms, workflow, connectors ? the owner of the app ?
Forms and workflows are not tied to the users who created them, meaning they won't be affected if that user is no longer associated with the account...
As far as I'm aware if a connection is created by a user who then leaves the connection will remain, at one point in the past it would have broken but I'm almost certain that they have fixed it since...
As Damien mentioned, the application framework (including Forms, Reports, Pages, and Workflows) will continue to function even if a user, added as a developer for application enhancements, is marked as Inactive at the account level or deleted permanently.
However, any connections that are authorized by the inactive or deleted user will be moved to an unauthorized state. To restore functionality, a super admin or another active user will need to reauthorize the connection.
