Document management KEY Feature MISSING
The Document module in VO is getting better and I hope it will mature soon in a more stable behaviour, ie.:
- rename working properly (many times it doesn�t)
- improved versioning procedure
- management of nearly every file (.txt, jpg, html... not working very well either... )
I Know you are solving all this shortcomings, BUT there is at least an important missing feature: Document Description!
A simple, searchable Description field attched to every document, would position VO as a killer document management application!
This description basically could contain metadata and may be comments, key words, synonims... this is a must in a serious application like this. Additionally it�s a breeze to implement it I guess! I�m not asking for a complex system, just a limited text area where the author could post comments and others be able to search them!
Come on, please, I have a few leads that are waiting for this badly!
