Moving from QuickBooks Desktop I'm trying to go through the import process and getting information from support is like extracting teeth from a hen!

I have many years of experience in parsing data but it is of no use unless I know the acceptable values in some of the fields, and support don't even seem to understand the problem, let alone the solution!

So, can anyone, please, provide me with the value ranges for the fields?

I'm looking at COA, Customers, Vendors, Sales items, purchases etc.

All of my tables are in separate worksheets inside Excel and is in the process of being cleaned up. 

So far, I have managed to import about 70% of my COA because the parser doesn't seem to like INCOME fields.

The download sample files are next to useless without explanation.
