Does Zoho Mail work on a Zoho CRM trial?

Does Zoho Mail work on a Zoho CRM trial?

I've just started a Zoho CRM enterprise trial. I have added Zoho Mail, and (I think) I have configured it correctly in the Cname panel in my web host. I have waited over an hour, but Zoho says it cannot validate the cname. 

It just occurred to me that Zoho Mail is a paid add-on. I haven't paid for it. Is this why it's not validating in my Zoho CRM trial?
