"Domain already exists" when signing up, but it was only registered today!

"Domain already exists" when signing up, but it was only registered today!

Perhaps someone here has experienced the same problem, and knows what to do.

I registered a domain today, and am trying to add it for Email hosting.

On the mail.zoho.com/biz/mailsignup.do page (Domain Setup), I enter the domain name in the top text box, and click "Add domain". BUT, then a small message appears directly below the textbox saying: "Domain already exist". And it won't let me proceed with the signup.

That's weird, right? Perhaps a previous owner of the domain had registered it with zoho, or something? Any idea why this is happening?
