Dual bookings

I am using my zoho crm to manage vacation rental properties. The only problem I am having is that, I need to prevent having multiple overlapping potentials to one account. I don't want to have double bookings, and make my guests mad. How can I achieve this? I prefer to have an e-mail response. Thanks in advance.
