Duplicate entries in sent folder from Android Gmail

Hi, from my Android phone using the default Gmail client I end up with duplicate copies in the sent folder, this does not happen from my Airmail2 client on the Mac, even though 'Save copies in sent folder' is checked.

It seems to be a problem with the Gmail Android client?
