'Duplicate' record button in Grid View

There doesn't seem to be a 'duplicate' button when viewing in Grid View, the 'duplicate' button only appears in List View.

For my app, I sometimes need to duplicate records very often and change some fields for each duplicated record. Normally, what I've done is to select the record in List View, click duplicate record, then manually edit each duplicated record.

Ideally, if I could duplicate the records while in Grid View, I wouldn't have to manually open up each duplicated record to edit the fields, I would be able to just do it it straight away in Grid View.

Any idea if the duplicate button can be activated to appear in Grid View somehow?
