Duplicate records in mobile app

Duplicate records in mobile app

I am working on the import of products, accounts, leads etc. I've done some imports and then un-done them, as i make customizations to the fields. While i may see only one record on my desktop, the iPhone app shows multiple copies of each record. The only thing that got rid of the extra records, which weren't actually on the server, was a reset of the app. Since we need to update the product records daily, how can we keep this from happening to our field sales reps? It's awkward to have to reset the app multiple times per day. Thanks for any help.
