Creating a view list from Contacts for a mass email.

When i create the view list i find have several duplicated contacts.

Further investigation after doing a deduplicate i find that the contacts aren't actually duplicated, but rather that the list created has generated the same contact for each product that is listed on the Contact page.  So for example a contact with the name Tom Jones who has four products would be listed four separate times on the view.

Looking for a solution to eliminate this problem.

Appreciate any positive advice.
