We recently acquired a small company that operates in the same sales territories as we do but with different product lines. This means they are calling on the same accounts, and potentially the same people, but I need to keep their ownership of the account/contact and activity separate. Anyone have a suggestion for how to go about setting this up in CRM? My thought right now is that I will have to duplicate the account record and just add some kind of identifier to the account name to distinguish the difference. Just wondering if there is another solution I am missing?
