Edit Pick List Properties

Edit Pick List Properties

I have several fields that are all in Leads - Accounts - Contacts - Opportunities. When I go into Leads and edit the field to add additional items to the "Pick List" they do NOT appear in the pick list in the other modules.

Do I actually have to go into each module - edit the layout - find the field - edit the properties and then add the new drop down item to the list - in every module?

You just cannot edit one list and have it appear in the list in every module???
