Edited topic descriptions disappear from sign-up form

I've just found that if I edit the descriptions of the topics I add to a sign-up form, the edits disappear after I save the form. You can follow the process from the screenshots.

1173: how the form starts

1174: I edit one of the topics

1175: I add extra text

1176: it appears to be recorded

1177: I press Save then Save & Proceed (you can't see that in the screenshot)

1178: I press Save & Get Code

1179: You can just see in the thumbnail that the extra text is there

1180: When I go back, it's disappeared

Is this expected behaviour?
