Editing fields from projects list view

Editing fields from projects list view

Hi.
In current design only admins can edit/archive projects (1) and change values in all displayed fields directly from the list of projects (2) - could you tell me why is that? From our point of view is absolutely something opposite to productivity... Our users are not admins and this functionality would make their work a lot easier. Could you improve that?
Btw if I will grant all users admin privileges, our management team and other departments won't be able to manage their projects because only a few users can have access to them...so making all users admins is not an option for us.
