Edition Based Limitations for Mail Merge
Hello everyone,
The number of merges that can be performed will now depend on the subscribed edition. These changes have been brought into effect owning to the changes made by the
Zoho Writer team. The new limits will be effective from
November 1st 2020.
The edition-wise availability are as follows:
- Professional and Enterprise edition users can perform 500 merges/month/org.
- Ultimate edition users can perform 1000 merges/ month/org.
- To merge more records you can purchase at: 5 cents ( $0.05)/merge. Minimum purchase limit is 500 merges and maximum up to 4000 merges. If you want more than 4000, you can reach out to support@zohocorp.com.
- The per day limit will be 1000/merges for ALL editions. That is, if you are a professional edition user and purchase for 2000 merges, you will be allowed 1000 merges in a day.
Impact on existing customer?
For existing customers, who are already using more than 500 merges/month, we have given an extension up to December 31st 2020 post which they will have to pay for additional merges.
Note that the merge limits apply to the mail merge action and print preview action (only applied while using the mail merge template) of the records.

Update: Taking your feedback into consideration, we have made some changes to the monthly Mail Merge limit. Users of all 3 editions (Professional/Enterprise/Ultimate) can now perform upto 1000 merges per month for free. There is no change in the daily limit of 1000 merges in a day,. which is same like before. The same has been updated in our help document.
