cannot enter contact with email address containing +, i. e. valid+email@example.com. this is a perfectly valid email address by but fails Zoho Campaigns validation.
In Zoho Campaigns, email addresses with + sign are ignored while adding/ uploading/ syncing them by default. To enable the option to allow email addresses with + sign, kindly revert to the email we have sent to your email address by sharing the requested information.

while I'll follow up on the separate email privately, can you kindly share the reason for "+" not allowed by default? once again these are legal characters defined by RFC.
there is a very popular generic use case: gmail aliases have had support for + for many years for @gmail.com addresses and Google Workspace / corporate inboxes. i. e. many people use something like Name.Surname+news@gmail.com (note "+news"). such email addresses are not be able to sign up for newsletters powered by Zoho Campaigns.
It seems to me that David’s question is one that Zoho support should answer here in the forum rather than offline via email as it is pertinent to all Campaigns users.
Kindly note that by default we do not allow the email addresses with "+" symbol as there are high possibilities that invalid email addresses may gets added to your account. In order to allow you to add those email addresses we need to get some clarification. Due to which we send an email asking about the clarification and once we get the clarification we will be enabling the provision from the back end.
I am also looking for response. I know my data quality is *very* high, but I definitely use "plus" email addressing .. I am also looking for instructions on how to enable this. Thank you in advance! - Joel
