When are email alias' or email catch-all coming to Zoho Mail?

I was able to create alias' by creating a number of "send message as", but lately, verification has been added and you can't receive a verification to an address using your domain in Mail.

I really want to be able to maintain multiple addresses in my single Zoho account. 'Send message as' let me do that, but the new verification requirement throws a kink in it.

Why can't you edit the email address in a 'send message as'?
