I am not able to confirm my email address

My email address was previously confirmed, but I tried to change/edit my email address (which the option to do is provided); and can now not confirm my email address.

After I changed/edited my email address I could not receive the "confirmation link" for the changed/edited email address.  Because I could not receive confirmation link I assumed I am not able to change the email address even though the option is provided.  So I changed my email address back to the original.

After changing/editing my email address back to the original I am being asked to confirm the original email address again.  

Now I am unable to receive the "confirmation link" in my email which is changed/edited back to the original email address.

• Please help with the issue of not being able to receive "confirmation link."
• can you confirm if should be able to change my email address?
