I recently transferred my domain to a new registrar, then mapped it to Zoho so that I could manage my website and email from within Zoho.
When setting up my email, it wouldn't let me use my existing email address which I've had for years,
jj@jeffjepson.co.uk, as it said this already existed. This is because I signed up to Zoho years ago but didn't start using any services; so I had to create a new address,
jeff@jeffjepson.co.uk.
Someone from Zoho support sent me instructions to delete the old jj@ account and then add the address to my new email account. They then said I could make the jj@ address the admin and then delete the jeff@ address. But when I deleted the jeff@ address, it deleted everything, and I now can't access anything in Zoho; when I try to access Zoho mail it says my account is not active. I can't get into manage my domain, to delete it all and start again, as it says I have to contact the administrator, which is myself.
I've been emailing Zoho support for days now and have heard NOTHING. This is massively frustrating, I have no online presence, and no webmail or desktop email client. For some reason the Zoho app on my iPhone still works, but I need to regain access urgently or I'll have to take my domain elsewhere.
I wanted to use Zoho because they seemed to have the best options based on hours of research for website and email hosting, but I'll have to go elsewhere unless this is resolved.
