Email event (like open and click) can trigger action, like update Lead-Status?
Hi there,
I am wondering if there is a way to get the following issue I have automated:
I often send out individual emails introducing my business to potential new clients, meaning leads. When I sent these emails, I created my own list of Lead-Statuses, and when I sent such emails, I change it from "Uncontacted" to "Contacted". What I would like for the system to do automatically, if at all possible, is for the status to go to the next stage, which is "Opened Email" when a lead does exactly that, opened my email. Furthermore, there is a link to my homepage in the email, and if the lead clicks on the link, I would like for the system to move the Lead-Status one step further even, to "Clicked Link".
Is there a way to have this automated in Zoho CRM? Meaning the lead status gets automatically updated/changed, when an email event as a trigger takes place, meaning the opening or link clicking in an email triggers the action of changing the lead status? Is that possible, and if so does it take a Blueprint, a Rule or Workflow Automation?
Thanks for any help! If this is not possible yet, I would strongly suggest that email events can trigger automatic action should please be incorporated in the tool, please!
