Email forwarding issue

I have set up my organization's email with your service.  I can receive and send mail from my user account (as intended). I have set this account to forward all mail to my personal Gmail account.  I am receiving the forwarded mail (as intended).  I have set up my Gmail account to "send mail as" the user account I set up with your service.  The mail is sent as intended and it is also received as intended.

The issue is after all of the above listed activity, the Gmail account receives a forwarded email from the ZOHO user account.  The result is an identical message to the one sitting in my "Sent" folder on Gmail is also present in the "Inbox" on Gmail.  I write to ask if this is the expected result and to inquire at to whether forwarded mail can be restricted to only incoming mail, not mail that is sent from the Gmail account through the ZOHO user account
