Email forwarding. Sometimes it works, sometimes not

So I've just started using Zoho to forward an old email domain to our new Google Apps domain. I've setup the needed accounts and forwarding settings, but the performance has been spotty at best.

Sometimes the test emails I've sent from different accounts to the forwarded email address at Zoho get sent. Sometimes they don't. Ever. Sometimes they are delivered anywhere from 5 to 45 minutes after sending the mail.

While I realize this is a free service, I can't believe the system is running as it should be. Perhaps there is something wrong.

And then as I'm writing this email, a user just let me know that you've disabled forwarding:

To:  u ser@user.com


Dear  u ser@user.com ,

Problem while forwarding mails to  u ser@user.com . Repeated failure will disable email-forwarding.
