Email integration

Hi there - I am new to Zoho CRM (loving it so far!) but am wondering how you can set-up email such that when, for example, you click on a contact's email address, it will open your chosen email program (e.g., MS Outlook) to initiate communication. Under personal settings, I see you have the option to establish a Zoho mail account but not sure this is what I need to do. Any suggestions would be appreciated - thanks!
