Email notification for tasks and appointments

Hi,

I'm probably going to drive everyone crazy with my posts, but what can I say :)

Email notifications....I don't think I have it set up right.

I'm the root admin. Is the email sent from my default email account? I've got two accounts set up. The default one is the one I set up in the Settings section where the generic noreply email was set up upon installation. Isn't this the one that would send out the notifications?

If someone can give me step by step instructions on how to set this up I would appreciate it!
